Vereeniging and its many suburbs relied heavily on the steel mills for household income which is still the case and naturally allied industries and the commercial sector supporting the industry as a whole has brought a stable growth to the town and suburbs and then the large power stations in the area.
For this reason, the town and suburbs like Unitas Park will be residential suburbs that command their own degree of demand in the market place.
Being middle to middle-upper class means it is a suburb that offers a lot to the general buyers and sellers in the market, that along with a mixed property usage consisting of freestanding homes and townhouses. This also affords the suburb a varying pricing structure thus attracting first-time buyers and established families. Leafy streets, groomed gardens and neat sidewalk tell a story of a suburb that is loved and has that important familial atmosphere. The outdoor leisure activities in the region will please most with the Vaal River being on the doorstep.
The other benefit of residing in Unitas Park is of course the close proximity to the Vaal University of Technology and the North- West University Vaal Triangle Campus.
