Levyvale in Uitenhage is situated in the “belt” of middle upper-class suburbs, Vanes Estate, Jansendal and Strelitzia Park.
There is a tangible familial atmosphere that prevails over the suburb which is echoed in the manicured sidewalks and the general well-groomed state of the homes.

There are malls close to Levyvale that cater for entertainment and retail needs namely Uitenhage Complex Centre, Fairbridge Heights Centre and Van Riebeeckhoogte Shopping Mall.
