Floracliffe is a suburb of Roodepoort, west of Johannesburg.
When looking closely, it is apparent that the suburb of Floracliffe is a stone’s throw away from suburbs like Fourways and Bryanston. This however, does not influence the property values of the suburb.
Floracliffe very much performs on its own merits in terms of property value and attraction which are a stable growth, a high demand and an architecture which suits a larger market. Property use comprises freehold homes, cluster homes and sectional title town houses. This means a very large market will be satisfied.
The setting of the suburb is a feature that has in part been a factor in driving prices as some of the homes are set on the cliff facing north adding to the dramatic architecture and appeal of the homes.
The well-established region means all the creature comforts are close at hand like schools, commercial hubs, industrial hubs and retail outlets and malls. All the amenities are in close proximity to the suburb due to the many roads that intersect they suburb and links to other suburbs like the 14th avenue off and on ramps from the N1 Western Bypass and other major and minor roads like Ontdekkers Road, Hendrik Potgieter Road and Golf Club Terrace.
Schools servicing the suburb with education are, Laerskool Gustaf Preller, UNISA Florida Campus, La Salle College, Laerskool Horison and Florida Park High School.
Malls near to the suburb are, The Hillfox Value Centre, Clearwater Mall and Flora Centre Westgate Shopping Centre.
The industrial hubs near to the suburb are Hillfox, Technicon, Manufacta and Stormill.
To reach the Johannesburg CBD is just as convenient on Ontdekkers road for those working in the commercial sector or students attending the University of Johannesburg.
