Erasmia is a suburb of the greater Centurion which came into being with the expanding needs for residential property in Centurion.
The suburb is well-established with all the important amenities in place like access roads, schools and retail malls. An interesting fact about the suburb is that it was laid out in the traditional “garden cities” principle with public recreational spaces located more or less in the centre of the suburb which lends to a sense of community.
The mixed property use of the suburb is made up of estates, freehold homes, sectional-title townhouse complexes, apartments and clusters thus it has a broad base of property investors and a high demand.
Demand for property in Erasmia was increased greatly by the development of lifestyle estates which have become fashionable in recent times. This has had the positive effect of setting new standards within the suburb’s newer homes where architecture is now influenced by the lifestyle estates. Thus the general aesthetics of the suburb has been lifted to that of a more upmarket suburb.
The apartments and townhouse complexes are the best value for money from a purely investment viewpoint. Though not as affordable as less expensive suburbs the prospects are still stable and rental properties are in high demand.
The benefits of the suburb is its proximity to some sought after schools like;
Laerskool Erasmia
Bastion College
Centurion Christian School
Hoerskool Zwartkop
The suburb has loads of room to expand and taking sales figures into account all indications are that the suburb is stable and demand will continue to increase with the development of more lifestyle estates.
Here is a list of some of the popular estates in the region;
Copperleaf Country and Lifestyle Estate
Swartkops Golf Estate
Sevilla Estate
