Bezuidenhout Valley is a sought after suburb due to its location and close proximity to Johannesburg CBD.

It is a short distance from up market suburbs such as Bruma and Bedfordview, allowing the suburb to offer loads in terms of property investment prospects. The homes are of sturdy construction and the rooms are large and many still have pressed ceilings and "broekie lace" front porches, with wooden floors begging the adventurous investor the restore it to former glory.

There are many advantages to owning a home in Bezuidenhout Valley. It is in close proximity to O R Tambo Airport as well as to the Johannesburg CBD area. Another advantage is the proximity to the R24 main road, which links many of the eastern Johannesburg suburbs in a convenient thread. Furthermore, Ellis Park Stadium is walking distance from Bezuidenhout Valley.

There is also a well-established clinic in the suburb.

Of course the view is that it is to a large extent positively influenced by the surrounding suburbs including De Wetshof, Bruma, Bedfordview, Observatory, Jeppestown, Kensington and Betrams.

It is also a suburb which is as old as Johannesburg thus all the amenities are in place like schools malls and the commercial hubs.

Available schools in and around Bezuidenhout Valley are Jeppe High School for Girls, Athlone Boys High School and Glen Oaks School.

There is a little mystery about the Yukon Stained glass that was removed from the famous very iconic Yukon Home. A landmark home that was owned by various famous people and dignitaries over the years had its massive stained glass windows stolen some years ago.

The windows are part of a major hunt to return the windows and restore this icon to its former original glory.
