Randburg is known for gardens and a varied degree of status depending on where one finds oneself.
The homes in Beverly Gardens are a mixture of prestigious homes and middle-class homes with a mixed property usage consisting of freehold homes, apartments, townhouses and cluster homes.
The suburb has attained its own status of exclusivity but it has to be said that surrounding suburbs like Bryanston and Vandia Grove have contributed partly to the status at some point in time.
Being an older Randburg suburb, Beverly Gardens has the old world charm and this is carried over to the homes and more so the sizes of homes which date back to the late 60’s-70’s. the homes then were built for large families.
This is true for Beverly Gardens where many of the homes have at least four bedrooms and large stands, which is also part of the familial atmosphere the suburb dictates. The familial atmosphere and age of the suburb will suite the younger generation with young families within the executive property market seeking the tranquillity of an older suburb.
The popularity and appeal of Beverly Gardens as a residential address is the fact that the suburb is within easy access to a number of commercial hubs and a few industrial hubs. Of course the convenient access to schools adds to the appeal of the suburb.
Major roads also connect Beverly Gardens to commercial hubs in Midrand and its industrial hub such as the N1 Western Bypass.
The commercial hubs in the Sandton CBD, Rivonia, Bryanston and Randburg are accessed via roads such as Bram Fischer Drive, easy access to William Nicol Drive, Jan Smuts Avenue and Malibongwe Drive.
Industrial hubs such as Strydom Park, Kyalami and Lanseria are equally easy to access along these major roads.
Here is a list of schools which give the suburb a status as a family suburb; St Stithians College, Bryanston Primary School and Crawford College Sandton.
