Atteridgeville is a big suburb situated in the outskirts of Pretoria. It is flanked by four other major suburbs of the north western parts of Pretoria - Proclamation Hill, Laudium, Lotus Gardens and Saulsville.

Atteridgeville is an expanding suburb of Pretoria with residents traveling to the Pretoria CBD, Pretoria North and eastern parts of Pretoria for work. From that perspective the suburb is well located for convenience to public transport and routes.

It is also located close to the N4 highway towards Hartebeespoort, giving easy access to a major route towards the North West province.

The town has schools as well as retail- and commercial hubs catering for residents' needs.
