Yes it’s a bit more expensive than the rest of the stands but privacy, view, no road noise and great trees are but a few of the characteristics of this stand. Moditlo is 18kms from Hoedspruit on the R40. The magnificent Northern Drakensberg Mountains form the backdrop of the reserve.
The reserve is home to the’ Big Four ‘consisting of lion, Leopard, Rhino and Elephant. Plains game are numerous and include Kudu, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala and Waterbuck amongst others. There are also Cheetah, Wild Dog and Hyena. The estate has 2 seasonal rivers running through it; the Mbezi and Moditlo. Vegetation on the reserve varies from riverine to open plains with a magnificent variety of trees
including, Knobthorn, Marula, Leadwood, Weeping Boer Bean and Wild [hidden];
Moditlo is a 3,300ha Big 4 Game Reserve Estate, forming integral part of the large 12,000 ha Blue canyon Private Game Reserve. The reserve is located +- 18km south of Hoedspruit on the R40. Moditlo is home to most of South Africa's most famous and rarest game, with more than 40 mammals and 400 bird species on the reserve. It is home to Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Wild Dogs, Spotted Hyenas, Caracals, Cheetahs, and Hippos, amongst many others.
